Sunset tours are the most popular, so we recommend booking your charter far in advance.
Ash Scattering
Southern Wonder Yacht Charters offers private scattering of ashes & memorial services from our luxury motor yacht on Charleston Harbor. We realize this is a difficult time and we are truly honored to provide you and your loved ones with a dignified and affordable memorial service. Charleston Harbor, the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterways have special meaning and a beautiful place to release ashes into the sea. Our 46ft power yacht "Southern Wonder" is stable, spacious and comfortable which will provide the perfect setting for your loved one's final goodbye. She is also equipped with BT surround sound for personal music selection and complete enclosures for any type of weather event.
Usually we do the ash scattering in the morning due to light wind; however, we are flexible.
Prices are based on a two hour minimum $400 per hour. We will often combine the ash scattering with a cruise of the harbor which our guests have found makes the whole event more memorable and enjoyable. Families appreciate that the ashes are scattered from a beautiful yacht and feel this type of ceremony is very appropriate. Pricing
*Hourly rate $400
*All charters are a minimum of 2 hours
*Prices do not include tax or gratuity for the crew (standard is 20%) based of course on
your personal experience.
*Maximum of 12 passengers
All charters include Captain, crew, coolers with ice and water. All of our trips are private, we don't mix groups so there will only be your group and the crew onboard.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks onboard. If you need assistance with food options please contact us.

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as flexible and friendly as we can make it.
Weather cancellation: If your trip is cancelled due to weather (at the captain's discretion), we will reschedule, or refund the full amount paid. We will be in touch if there is rain in the forecast. Because the weather in Charleston changes quickly, we typically wait until the last minute to cancel for bad weather. "Southern Wonder" can handle any type of weather event due to the ease of drop down full enclosures which will keep your group dry in a moment's notice.
Cancellation by the guest: If a cancellation is made within seven days of the charter date, a 50% refund will be provided. No cancellation refunds are provided within 48 hours of departure.
Cancellation by the captain: If severe weather, environmental conditions, unforeseen prohibitive circumstances, or mechanical failure, the charter will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date prior to the trip or a full refund will be issued.
